ASA COASTAL NAVIGATION
“Where the Figawe?”

This is one of our advanced sailing courses! After completing our two day, classroom based Coastal Navigation (CNAV) course, you will earn A.S.A. Coastal Navigation Certification (105).  This course will provide you with the advanced skills needed to plot courses and identify your location along coastal waters anywhere in the world.
Topics cover charts, tides, government publications used in navigation, course plotting, various methods of obtaining position fixes, set & drift, and much more. 
This course will better prepare you for the home study portion of the texts and skills.  After you have completed the home study, you can sit for the challenging ASA exam.                   
Courses offered in the following formats:
Each course provides 16 hours of classroom based instruction.
WEEKEND: Saturday & Sunday 9:00a.m. - 5:00p.m.
WEEKDAY EVENINGS:  Tuesday & Thursday 6:00p.m. – 9:00p.m. over three consecutive weeks

This is a classroom based course, therefore we can have up to twelve students per course.  We typically hold these classes at well known hotel conference rooms throughout the year.
