ASA 105 - COASTAL NAVIGATION“Where the Figawe?” This is one of our advanced sailing courses! After completing our two day, classroom-based ASA Coastal Navigation (NAV) course, you will earn ASA Coastal Navigation Certification. This course will provide you with the advanced skills needed to plot courses and identify your location along coastal waters anywhere in the world. Topics cover charts, tides, government publications used in navigation,
trip planning, course plotting, various methods of obtaining position
fixes, set & drift,
avoiding hazards, and much more. Stay safe while at sea!
Each course provides 16 hours of classroom based instruction. WEEKEND: Saturday, Sunday, Saturday 9:00a.m. - 5:00p.m., over three consecutive weeks. WEEKDAY EVENINGS: Tuesday & Thursday 6:00p.m. – 9:00p.m. over three consecutive weeks This is a classroom based course, therefore we can have up to twelve students per course. We typically hold these classes at well known hotel conference rooms throughout the year. PRICING
